It's the reason why I can be a canoe guide, and it's the reason why I help people. It's the cause of who I am and what I aspire to be. It brought me to Europe and back, introduced me to horse riding, taught me to knit and sew, helped me continue my musical studies, and impressed upon me the importance of public relations.
Because I stuck with it.
Because I did the hard things more often than the easy.
Because I did thousands of hours of leadership and volunteer work.
Because I worked.
